David Swanson

Technology Specialist, Microsoft Northern California

David Swanson is a Technology Specialist in Microsoft's Northern California, Foster City office where he focuses on desktop products, specifically Office 2000. In this role, he gives product presentations and demonstrations at client sites and conferences. Prior to joining Microsoft, he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1998. While in school, he worked at a Department of Energy research facility where he helped design and test energy storage prototypes for a linear particle accelerator. Also, he spent a summer with PriceWaterhouseCoopers management consulting, performing regression testing for a roll out of PeopleSoft. In his spare time, David enjoys playing tennis, shooting pool, drawing and painting.
