Anne ImObersteg (MS JD) has 22 years of experience in the field of forensic toxicology. As a former Senior Forensic Chemist and Forensic Alcohol Supervisor at a major California crime lab (16+ years), and as an independent forensic toxicologist, Anne has testified well over 500 times as an expert in the following areas: methods and concepts of forensic toxicology, field sobriety tests (DOT-qualified Administrator), alcohol/drug effects on human performance, driving impairment issues, drug recognition exams, alcohol/drug screening and confirmation (GC and GC/MS), breath alcohol instruments (Intoxilyzer 4011A and 5000 series, DataMaster, Draeger 7110 and 7410, and PAS devices), post mortem toxicology, employee drug testing (former SAMHSA Laboratory Inspector), clandestine laboratories, narcotics, and much more.

Anne is an active member of the California Association of Toxicologists, The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists and the National Safety Council. Anne also is an adjunct Professor at Lincoln University, and has taught classes in Forensic Science at various universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has authored chapters in authoritative texts, articles in peer-reviewed journals, and been asked to speak at many forensic science/toxicology seminars.
