Scott J. Drexel, Esq.

Scott Drexel is chief trial counsel for The State Bar of California’s attorney discipline system. Prior to being named to this position in 2005, Mr. Drexel served as chief court counsel and administrative officer for the State Bar Court 16 years. Mr. Drexel has presented programs for the Center for Continuing Education and San Francisco Law School, which have addressed organization and workings of the California State Bar Discipline system.

Founded in 1927 by the State Legislature, the State Bar of California is an administrative arm of the California Supreme Court, serving the public and seeking to improve the justice system for more than 80 years. All lawyers practicing law in California must be members of the State Bar. In March 2005, membership reached more than 200,000.
